SEO Tip of the week.

google.pngDid you know that sometimes new domains are at a disadvantage as far as Google goes?  There are several reasons for this but the main one is that Google does not want spammers on  its search engine. Their montra is “user experience” and spammers do not contribute to user experience.

We have all come to expect that when we type in a search query that what we want will be on the front page and spammers who try to “game” the system do not contribute to user experience.  They open up a domain, use it badly and then move on to another domain.

One of the ways that Google determines if you’re not a spammer is your commitment to the domain name.  What does that mean for you?  Easy.  If you add years to your domain registration, Google will see that as a sign of your committment and you will see better search engine results quicker for your domain.
